Why the american church is in heresy

This past week the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America or ELCA ordained a "transgender" person as "bishop". Meanwhile the NALC, which is the other half of the Lutheran church in America kept quiet. The so called conservatives if they were indeed interested in providing society with a contrast in truth versus lie should have came out in force and said without any ambiguity that the ELCA is not a Christian Church whatsoever.
